This week's episode of The Unspoken Truth (#7) was a little different from our usual deep dives. Instead of a structured topic, we took a more relaxed approach, kind of like catching up with our listeners. Think of it as a behind-the-scenes peek into what's going on with the podcast and our plans for the future!
[00:00:00] Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome, coming to you from somewhere deep in the heart of Texas. You're listening to The Unspoken Podcast, where nothing is off limits. Here's your hosts, Breyden and Cody.
[00:00:19] Welcome to The Unspoken Podcast, guys. We have not, we haven't been on like in a hot minute. We were promising some episodes, but we got working on an episode about relationships and it just, sometimes we have a couple of drinks before we come to the studio. So the relationship episode was kind of a little bit off. The two times that we recorded was kind of a little messy, wonky.
[00:00:41] Messy. We can say messy.
[00:00:44] So we didn't, we won't release that, but we'll talk about that topic another time. We just wanted to come on here and welcome you guys to the new year and let you know what we've got in store for you and then give a little, a little preview of what our next episode is going to be about fitness, which is something close to Cody's heart. So give a little bit about fitness today and then, you know, yeah, let you guys know what we have on the horizon.
[00:01:07] See how life has been treating everyone.
[00:01:09] Yeah. So did you have a, I asked this for our viewers, I asked this for our listeners because I know, did you have a good Christmas?
[00:01:16] Of course. I had too many Christmases. No, um, I had to have what? Two, two Christmases. I had my son's birthday, the 19th. We had that at Dave and Buster's, spent way too much money. It was great. He hit double digits. He's 10.
[00:01:32] It's crazy. It looks like he's 13. Um, that's not saying a lot guys, cause I'm like five, 10, but no joke. Uh, actually taking him to the big gym today. Today we're taking him to the big gym. We've got to see if, uh, he could pass his 13.
[00:01:50] Uh, but no, we had his birthday and then what did we do? That was Thursday, Saturday. We went to see some family back home. Had his birthday and Christmas that same day. Went and saw some lights at the botanical gardens.
[00:02:04] Uh, came back Sunday. Had Christmas, Christmas Eve. He went with his other dad on Christmas Eve night. I worked since then. Got him back. We had New Year's. You know, did the whole, what is it? The white grape juice vinegar, not vinegar, but cider stuff for the kids. Did that thing. My, my mic just went off.
[00:02:26] I can hear you. You're good.
[00:02:28] I can't.
[00:02:28] Oh, your headphones went out.
[00:02:31] Maybe it's that cause the OG's over here fucking with it. Anyways, we did the, the drink, the sparkling cider stuff. Sounds like a whole lot of fun. It was a whole lot. It was a whole lot of mess. We usually bring up the year before on YouTube. You know, the ball dropping. Cause I don't want to stay up till midnight. Yeah. I'm lying. Say that we're watching it. Countdown this year. We're going to stay up till midnight. I had to work the next morning, but I was fighting through it and just little shit. 1140. Fall asleep. I didn't even pull it up. I just went to sleep. What about you? You went out, didn't you?
[00:02:59] What? What? You know what? Anyways, first of all, Christmas was great. I got to do, I got to go see one with my parents and go do all that fun stuff. And then of course hung out with Cody for a little bit and do all that fun Christmas stuff. Christmas is just a, for me.
[00:03:15] You got a tattoo.
[00:03:16] I got it. I did get a tattoo.
[00:03:18] Three years in coming tattoo.
[00:03:20] Three years in coming. I didn't squirm. I didn't move. I cursed a couple of times, but it actually, it's really, it's some, it's good work.
[00:03:26] It's Aries actually drew this Sonic about two, three years ago. And I told him, cause he's got, he's such an artist. And I was like, yeah, you know, I'll get that tattooed on me or whatever.
[00:03:36] So we fixed it up and made it look really well. And so it, I, I like, I like it. It's pretty cool. It's a cute little tattoo of Sonic. So I showed him a picture the other day and he's like, why are his ears red? We talked about it.
[00:03:46] Oh yeah. Yeah. And he goes, Oh, I forgot. New Year's was good. Um, it was low key. I went out with a couple of my friends, Thomas and Tyler.
[00:03:55] We went out to J.R.'s. It was more or less of the packed place. Did a shot of rumple at midnight and then left. That was it.
[00:04:05] Celebrated New Year's. And then, um, yeah, went home. No New Year's kiss. I didn't get a New Year's kiss this year. I was supposed to get a New Year's kiss.
[00:04:11] We won't say any names of anybody that was supposed to be a New Year's kiss, but yeah, other than that, I mean, just nothing crazy.
[00:04:18] I'm going on a trip. That's going to be fun. I'm going to the Bahamas in two and a half weeks. I'm excited.
[00:04:25] Damn, you can't lie ever. I'm actually, I'm going to go, my friend, one of my friends lives in Fort Lauderdale.
[00:04:30] So I'm going to go see him say hi and I'm going to go on this cruise. It's going to be really fun.
[00:04:34] You're terrible at that. First cruise. So it's going to be good. I'm excited about it.
[00:04:40] You got a room with a balcony? Yeah. Like a massive balcony. Oh, on the cruise? Yeah. We know that. That's not going to be alone.
[00:04:46] Why can I, I mean, of course he, I can't argue this because apparently you can't buy yourself your own cruise pass ticket, whatever.
[00:04:55] It has to be in groups or two. Okay. But you've already outed yourself, but I'll tell you how it goes.
[00:05:00] You buy the room by twos. You can go by yourself, but you have to buy it in twos.
[00:05:04] Like you pay for two people. So two people are able to go, but you got to sign that person up whenever you sign up for the room.
[00:05:09] Otherwise, yes, you can go by yourself, but you're paying for two people.
[00:05:16] What I'm saying, they've paid for it, but they're not going. And you get to go solo and you didn't pay for two people.
[00:05:23] That's true. That's what I'm doing. You're a liar. You're a liar.
[00:05:31] But yeah, no, that's about it. Hung out, had some good times, going to go on this trip. I'm excited.
[00:05:36] We've got a couple trips that we're playing this year. We're going to Australia. We're going to St. Martin.
[00:05:41] That one, the Virgin Islands. That's going to be fun. It's going to be fun. Yeah.
[00:05:44] And the beach and then might find a husband in Australia and just not come back.
[00:05:49] But, you know, yeah, right. Those spiders are bigger. I've seen them, you know, and there's one.
[00:05:53] There's a guy that I follow on Facebook and he's he's in the shower and he's like, well, if you don't want to, he goes, if you want to move to Australia, he goes, here's one reason why.
[00:06:00] There's like this big ass roach in the shower.
[00:06:01] Not happening. He's like, he's just taking it. Give me a flask.
[00:06:04] Fuck no. Burn the house down. Burn it all.
[00:06:08] I think the coolest part was just how they have, you know, how we see stray animals, cats and dogs in the streets.
[00:06:12] They're like, oh, that's just a stray kangaroo. Jumping through the backyard.
[00:06:18] Jumping through the backyard. Jumping through the backyard.
[00:06:20] I'll be going to Vegas March. Yeah.
[00:06:24] Going for a couple of days. It'll be fun.
[00:06:25] Hanson's first time, but going for my friend Shannon's husband's 50th birthday.
[00:06:30] Yeah, that's cool. Vegas is fun.
[00:06:33] It'll be nice. I've been out there and go win some money.
[00:06:38] Yes. I am.
[00:06:40] I can't believe you're going to hit a jackpot.
[00:06:43] Big time.
[00:06:46] Just setting up, we're getting, for my regular day job, we have, I've been setting up our podcast at our new studios.
[00:06:54] And it's pretty badass, the equipment that we're getting.
[00:06:57] So we're going to have a new studio.
[00:06:59] That'll be fun.
[00:07:00] Yeah.
[00:07:01] And then I'll have, we're going to have a studio at my new apartment.
[00:07:04] We both moved.
[00:07:05] Yes.
[00:07:06] Yeah.
[00:07:06] In the process.
[00:07:07] One moved, one in the process.
[00:07:09] So I'm getting excited.
[00:07:10] I got this big two bedroom.
[00:07:12] I'm going to make the bedroom, the second one a studio.
[00:07:14] I already ordered the backdrop.
[00:07:15] So it's going to be great for photos.
[00:07:17] I can't wait.
[00:07:18] Oh, man.
[00:07:20] And if you guys, some of you guys, of course, don't know me, but I can't decorate to save my life.
[00:07:25] So my apartment is going to be great because I'm going to have like a leg press in the dining room area, my couch, a podcast studio in the other room,
[00:07:33] and like mismatching bed furniture, but.
[00:07:35] Going to be the most straightest, gayest apartment ever.
[00:07:39] So, but I don't know.
[00:07:41] At this, I've always said when I had the budget that Cody can come decorate because he decorates like really well.
[00:07:45] So I might have him just do that.
[00:07:46] The only odd ball thing would be the leg press in the dining room.
[00:07:50] Yeah.
[00:07:50] That might go in the studio.
[00:07:51] Right.
[00:07:52] The studio is the mix of all.
[00:07:53] Yeah.
[00:07:54] But yeah.
[00:07:54] Just throw a sheet over it.
[00:07:55] Wow.
[00:07:56] So, yeah, we got a couple.
[00:07:57] We're got probably think we've got three more episodes left for this season to end.
[00:08:01] And one of the ones is going to be fitness.
[00:08:03] The other one.
[00:08:05] I really would like to redo the relationship one.
[00:08:07] Yeah, me too.
[00:08:08] Less drunk.
[00:08:10] Good word.
[00:08:10] Good word.
[00:08:11] I wasn't going to use it, but good word.
[00:08:13] Less drunk.
[00:08:14] A hundred.
[00:08:14] Yeah.
[00:08:15] No, that one's fine.
[00:08:16] That was great.
[00:08:17] And then fitness for sure.
[00:08:18] Fitness.
[00:08:18] We're going to do an episode.
[00:08:20] I actually got back into it.
[00:08:21] Oh, you got back into fitness pretty good.
[00:08:22] That didn't sound right.
[00:08:23] But yeah, I've gotten back into it pretty well lately.
[00:08:26] That's good.
[00:08:27] Oh, yeah.
[00:08:27] I've seen your pictures too.
[00:08:29] I see you taking your story photos.
[00:08:31] And it's not just for a fucking picture.
[00:08:33] I'm very proud of myself.
[00:08:35] Is it not?
[00:08:35] It's not.
[00:08:35] I don't go for the picture.
[00:08:36] I have an app that is tracking all this stuff.
[00:08:39] So, yeah.
[00:08:41] But that's another story for another time.
[00:08:44] But yeah.
[00:08:44] And so one of the episodes, we're going to do the relationship one.
[00:08:46] We're going to do the fitness one.
[00:08:48] We're going to talk about goals today.
[00:08:50] And then there's two topics that I want to do for the third one.
[00:08:54] Oh, we've still got to do that.
[00:08:55] That one topic about that our friend Michelle wants to come.
[00:08:58] The sex toys.
[00:08:59] That would still work.
[00:09:00] Yeah, yeah.
[00:09:00] For sure.
[00:09:01] I think we got to do that one this year.
[00:09:02] And then we've got some for, you know, circuit parties.
[00:09:04] We got to do one about that.
[00:09:05] And then, you know, you don't have to wear the headphones.
[00:09:08] Yes, because I can't hear myself.
[00:09:09] What are you going to say?
[00:09:10] I'm knowing the shit out of myself.
[00:09:11] No, I can't make sure whether my voice is close enough to this.
[00:09:14] I can hear you though.
[00:09:15] I can tell you, hey, you need to scoot closer.
[00:09:16] Yeah, no, I'm not.
[00:09:20] Shit.
[00:09:21] So, yeah.
[00:09:21] But what are, so, let's see.
[00:09:24] That's crazy.
[00:09:25] So, what are your goals for this year?
[00:09:26] What are some of your goals that you have for this year?
[00:09:29] Because I prefer goals over your resolutions.
[00:09:31] What's the difference?
[00:09:32] To me, New Year's resolutions are something that you want to change.
[00:09:35] Goals are something you're working towards that you're made new of.
[00:09:40] Okay.
[00:09:41] I can do it.
[00:09:42] It could be an old goal, but just something that you're working towards rather than something you want to change.
[00:09:47] That's deep.
[00:09:52] Not deep.
[00:09:53] It's deep.
[00:09:53] I respect that.
[00:09:54] Like, I mean, it's not some bullshit answer.
[00:09:56] It's like, for real, like, I don't like it because this is this.
[00:09:58] No, because if I want to change something, I just cut it off.
[00:10:01] Yeah.
[00:10:01] I mean, you have no idea.
[00:10:03] If you're not doing well at it or if it's not good for you, then.
[00:10:06] Yeah.
[00:10:07] It goes in all aspects.
[00:10:09] But goals for me, let's see.
[00:10:12] Obviously financial.
[00:10:13] I want to make more.
[00:10:14] Everybody wants to make more.
[00:10:15] Make a million this year.
[00:10:16] It's going to happen.
[00:10:17] I'm going to hit the lottery, too.
[00:10:17] My kid is going to get into, he wants to get into gymnastics, actually, lately, which is going to be great.
[00:10:23] Something I wanted to get into whenever I was younger.
[00:10:25] I did on the side, but I didn't get to get into it.
[00:10:28] He wants to do that.
[00:10:29] Going to limber him up, lose some weight.
[00:10:32] Perfect.
[00:10:32] Perfect.
[00:10:34] He's going to get into karate.
[00:10:35] He wants to.
[00:10:36] I think I'm going to do jujitsu for him instead.
[00:10:39] It's a little more.
[00:10:41] It's like, you know what jujitsu is.
[00:10:44] What?
[00:10:44] You know the difference between the both.
[00:10:48] Yeah.
[00:10:49] I would say if he's doing gymnastics, he can do jujitsu.
[00:10:52] Yeah, jujitsu is like.
[00:10:54] It's a little more.
[00:10:55] A little more quick and fast.
[00:11:02] That's not what I was going to use.
[00:11:04] I mean.
[00:11:04] I mean.
[00:11:05] It's a little more.
[00:11:07] I don't want to offend anybody.
[00:11:10] Karate to jujitsu.
[00:11:12] It's just quick.
[00:11:13] Jujitsu, it's like a ninja.
[00:11:14] Well, you know.
[00:11:15] Karate is like a ninja.
[00:11:17] Karate is like a ninja.
[00:11:18] And then jujitsu is like.
[00:11:19] Jujitsu is like magnified on steroids.
[00:11:21] Yeah.
[00:11:22] No.
[00:11:22] Jujitsu is like more.
[00:11:24] I see.
[00:11:24] Wrestling and all kinds of.
[00:11:26] Yeah.
[00:11:26] Is it not like.
[00:11:27] I thought jujitsu was like almost like.
[00:11:30] CrossFit.
[00:11:31] Like you're moving your body around.
[00:11:32] You're kicking a leg.
[00:11:33] You're doing this.
[00:11:33] And you.
[00:11:33] Yeah.
[00:11:34] That's jujitsu.
[00:11:35] Yeah.
[00:11:37] But it's not.
[00:11:39] I thought karate was ninja.
[00:11:42] Either way.
[00:11:43] Either way.
[00:11:43] If you know.
[00:11:44] Let us know.
[00:11:45] Leave it in the comments.
[00:11:47] Well, now I'm confused.
[00:11:48] In my mind.
[00:11:49] I feel like he'd be better at jujitsu.
[00:11:53] I think with him doing gymnastics.
[00:11:55] And then baseball.
[00:11:56] I'll agree with.
[00:11:57] That's a whole.
[00:11:57] He loves baseball.
[00:11:58] That's a whole lot going on.
[00:12:00] Yeah.
[00:12:00] At the same time.
[00:12:02] Well, kind of.
[00:12:03] Okay.
[00:12:05] Jujitsu is always.
[00:12:06] You know.
[00:12:06] It can consistently go.
[00:12:08] Gymnastics is too.
[00:12:09] If you want it to be.
[00:12:10] Or like the programs that I've looked into.
[00:12:12] They could be twice a week kind of thing.
[00:12:14] Whatever you want it to be really.
[00:12:16] Whatever you want to pay for.
[00:12:19] You got that daddy millionaire status coming up.
[00:12:21] So go ahead and pay whatever.
[00:12:22] Yeah.
[00:12:22] I'm winning the lottery.
[00:12:23] I told you.
[00:12:24] But then baseball is summer.
[00:12:26] He loves baseball.
[00:12:27] Which I love too.
[00:12:29] Yeah.
[00:12:29] I think he's going to excel at like gymnastics.
[00:12:32] I'd like to be a coach at some point.
[00:12:35] Sorry.
[00:12:36] I think that'd be really great.
[00:12:37] Because you're a great teacher.
[00:12:40] Your face.
[00:12:42] Anyways.
[00:12:43] I coached some of his last games.
[00:12:44] You did a really good job though.
[00:12:45] You're a good teacher.
[00:12:46] Like you explain it.
[00:12:47] And these kids listen to you.
[00:12:48] It's just my voice doesn't carry very much.
[00:12:49] That's exactly daddy voice.
[00:12:50] Yeah.
[00:12:50] It doesn't carry very much.
[00:12:52] But you know what he said.
[00:12:54] Unless you have to look at it.
[00:12:55] Like I'm like what?
[00:12:57] There's been a couple of times.
[00:12:58] I'm like.
[00:12:58] Can you say it just like.
[00:12:59] Just come closer.
[00:13:00] Come here.
[00:13:01] Come here.
[00:13:01] He's like.
[00:13:01] Never mind.
[00:13:04] No.
[00:13:04] I guess that's some of my goals though.
[00:13:05] That's cool.
[00:13:06] Goals for him.
[00:13:07] Goals for me.
[00:13:07] Yeah.
[00:13:09] I want to go back to school.
[00:13:10] If possible.
[00:13:12] I would love for that for you.
[00:13:13] Because I know you've been talking about it for a while.
[00:13:15] That's another goal.
[00:13:15] One couple of things I want to do.
[00:13:19] There's a couple of things I want to do.
[00:13:20] What about you?
[00:13:21] My goals.
[00:13:22] I live in the moment.
[00:13:23] Lies.
[00:13:26] My goals.
[00:13:27] Let's see.
[00:13:27] So I just started school for.
[00:13:30] To get my sport pilot certificate.
[00:13:33] So that basically means that I can fly an airplane.
[00:13:36] Not fucking riding with him.
[00:13:37] Yes he is.
[00:13:37] That's not him lying.
[00:13:38] Only if I'm driving.
[00:13:39] You don't drive an airplane.
[00:13:40] Whatever.
[00:13:41] You let me drive your car without a license.
[00:13:43] Y'all.
[00:13:44] He said it.
[00:13:44] Not me.
[00:13:45] Well it's already passed and I've got my license back.
[00:13:47] There's a seven year statutation.
[00:13:49] Oh there's not.
[00:13:50] Yes.
[00:13:50] I didn't do anything wrong.
[00:13:51] They didn't catch me doing anything wrong.
[00:13:53] But I did.
[00:13:53] You know how many photos I got?
[00:13:54] No.
[00:13:55] Fucking lame.
[00:13:56] I got videos.
[00:13:57] Guess what?
[00:13:57] Who's in the passenger seat?
[00:14:01] Don't take me along for that ride too.
[00:14:04] So yeah.
[00:14:05] My pilot is going to get my pilot certificate for a small plane.
[00:14:09] I looked at some that were the two seater planes and they're like right in the budget of a car.
[00:14:13] So I'm like rather than buying a car I can totally buy one and put it at my friend's
[00:14:16] hangar and just like hey you want to go for a weekend and it costs the same as gas on a car.
[00:14:20] Like hey it's a hundred dollars.
[00:14:21] Fill it up.
[00:14:21] You get 600 miles on let's fly to you know wherever.
[00:14:24] So if nobody wants to fly with me I'll take my happy eyes and my backpack and put my dogs in the passenger.
[00:14:28] And there's a little crop duster flying around.
[00:14:30] Crop duster is what you dove out of.
[00:14:32] This is not even a crop duster.
[00:14:33] You got windshields and a little radio.
[00:14:35] It's about the same size.
[00:14:36] It's a little smaller.
[00:14:37] Two seated.
[00:14:38] Oh smaller.
[00:14:38] But what I want though is the Icon A5 jack.
[00:14:41] Wait until you hit some turbulence.
[00:14:42] It's going to scare the shit out of you.
[00:14:43] And I have a ballistic parachute on it so it goes all the way down to something catastrophic.
[00:14:47] You couldn't even jump out of a plane.
[00:14:49] It's going to shoot you out of one.
[00:14:51] You're sitting buckled in your seat in the plane and you just glide right on down.
[00:14:54] It's a ballistic military parachute.
[00:14:56] I can't wait to see this.
[00:14:57] You'll probably be there so.
[00:14:59] I'm jumping out.
[00:15:00] You can't jump out.
[00:15:01] You better push me out.
[00:15:02] You can't.
[00:15:03] Hit the eject.
[00:15:04] Do something.
[00:15:05] We're not a military plane.
[00:15:07] Well I don't know that I want to be locked in a plane and crash.
[00:15:12] You've got it.
[00:15:13] The military uses these.
[00:15:14] And there's a little video.
[00:15:15] You just glide on down with your happy little self.
[00:15:18] Once we get past the 10,000 mile mark, open the top, dive out.
[00:15:21] I'll go right ahead.
[00:15:22] I want to go higher than that.
[00:15:23] Well if the plane's going down, you don't have an option.
[00:15:25] Well I want to jump out when it goes down.
[00:15:27] I did learn.
[00:15:28] 30,000 feet.
[00:15:29] I'll get out.
[00:15:30] 30,000 feet.
[00:15:30] You have to have oxygen masks.
[00:15:32] You can't go that high diving.
[00:15:33] How do you know?
[00:15:34] I'm taking classes.
[00:15:35] You just started one.
[00:15:37] Two days ago and I know a little bit.
[00:15:39] Yeah two days.
[00:15:40] I know a little bit.
[00:15:40] I also learned how to land a Boeing 730 from the other day.
[00:15:44] It was a video I needed.
[00:15:45] I saved it for quick reference because I'm going to Fort Worth.
[00:15:47] I'm going to Fort Lauderdale.
[00:15:49] If they have nobody.
[00:15:50] Oh god.
[00:15:50] This doesn't happen.
[00:15:51] But like if nobody knows, I have a video for reference.
[00:15:55] And the way they just made it.
[00:15:55] Let me watch YouTube real quick and get us down.
[00:15:57] I got mine for my instructor.
[00:15:59] There's a whole lot of buttons that handle this.
[00:16:01] There's no internet working.
[00:16:02] Can y'all start your Wi-Fi for me?
[00:16:05] You're going to laugh.
[00:16:06] But this is some stuff that I actually retained.
[00:16:08] I mean you have the little knobs.
[00:16:09] I don't know what it's called.
[00:16:10] But I know where it's at.
[00:16:11] And you turn it and it descends slowly because it's on autopilot.
[00:16:13] And then you hit the ground autopilot button when you get closer.
[00:16:16] And it starts gliding down to 15.
[00:16:17] You need to make sure when you land, you have to do it less than 300 knots.
[00:16:20] Go down your rudders on your legs.
[00:16:22] Make sure you don't use those.
[00:16:24] I know it's.
[00:16:24] I can't wait to see this.
[00:16:26] I'll have video.
[00:16:27] Believe me, I'll post it.
[00:16:27] But yeah.
[00:16:28] So that's like I'm getting my pilot certificate.
[00:16:30] Raymond, she's like, Brayden, after you've done like a million hours.
[00:16:34] And I go, don't lie.
[00:16:34] And she goes, okay, I'll get in the plane with you.
[00:16:36] She's like, she's the one that's like, you know what, bitch, let's go do this.
[00:16:42] I'm like, I know.
[00:16:42] I'm drunk.
[00:16:45] Sober, she'll be like, no, my babies.
[00:16:50] So funny because I was telling my mom because she knows it whenever we go out like Cody influences me to drink.
[00:16:56] So is your sweater still on backwards?
[00:16:59] What?
[00:17:00] Uh-uh.
[00:17:01] That's cute.
[00:17:01] I had a wardrobe malfunction earlier, so my sweater was inside out.
[00:17:08] Anyways.
[00:17:09] So yeah, that's my goal for that.
[00:17:12] I want to move up with my company more so or however that's going to work.
[00:17:17] And then they put me in charge of our podcast stuff at my regular job.
[00:17:21] So that's going to be great.
[00:17:23] But yeah.
[00:17:23] And then other than that is just my fitness too.
[00:17:26] I want to get these.
[00:17:27] I want to say for me, like November.
[00:17:29] Back to where you were.
[00:17:30] Yeah, absolutely.
[00:17:31] November, December, it just was more of a hassle and a chore to do it.
[00:17:35] And I just couldn't get motivated.
[00:17:36] There's too much going on.
[00:17:37] Yeah, absolutely.
[00:17:38] And so I want to get back where I was before.
[00:17:41] And I'm learning my way around the gym a little bit.
[00:17:44] Not a whole lot.
[00:17:45] And that's the funny thing that people are like, you don't look like you and then not know your way around the gym.
[00:17:48] Bitch, I don't know what that machine's called.
[00:17:50] But yeah.
[00:17:51] How are you doing today with these muscles?
[00:17:53] I have this one right here.
[00:17:54] That one.
[00:17:55] I might hit that one.
[00:17:56] I'm not sure.
[00:17:56] What are these by your net?
[00:17:57] Oh, traps.
[00:17:58] Can you show me how to get this one?
[00:18:00] As he kicks his leg backwards.
[00:18:02] Yeah, I sure did.
[00:18:03] I sure did.
[00:18:04] But yeah.
[00:18:05] And then, you know, just like you, financially better.
[00:18:09] I need to get better at my money.
[00:18:11] I slowly started doing that and getting, not that I was ever behind, but getting caught up on stuff.
[00:18:16] And now I just need to, like, I've asked Cody for it.
[00:18:20] Cody's really good with money in case I didn't know that.
[00:18:21] Like, he could be an accountant.
[00:18:22] I said, if I ever made it famous, like, just handle my money because I'll be blowing like a man in my mind blowing that shit and what happened to your money.
[00:18:30] You know?
[00:18:31] Anyways.
[00:18:31] But yeah, I want to get better with my money.
[00:18:34] I'm not gloating, but I make enough money to not be broke, but how am I always broke?
[00:18:40] Pretty penny.
[00:18:41] Yeah.
[00:18:42] Shiny penny.
[00:18:43] So, but yeah, to get better at my finances and then to do that.
[00:18:46] The pilot thing I'm really just excited about because I'd, just to be able to pick up and say, hey, you know what?
[00:18:52] Rather, like a road trip like we normally would do.
[00:18:54] Hey, you want to go just fly to Louisiana this weekend and just go?
[00:18:58] I do.
[00:18:59] I'm so glad you asked.
[00:19:00] Sign me up, you know?
[00:19:00] And so it's going to take a little bit.
[00:19:02] It's going to be bumpy for sure with the classes.
[00:19:04] Let me call in.
[00:19:07] And yeah.
[00:19:08] And then I guess more just building, working on myself.
[00:19:10] I got wrapped up with a guy that I liked a whole lot last year.
[00:19:13] Kind of lost myself during that.
[00:19:15] And then, you know, it was pretty good working on me.
[00:19:18] And then that's the first time it just went like a plane just falling out of the sky.
[00:19:21] It was horrible.
[00:19:29] I love that.
[00:19:30] If you had known me prior, I would not have admitted that.
[00:19:32] I would have beat around the bush, but I can fully admit that.
[00:19:34] So I'm trying my hardest not to say.
[00:19:35] Please do.
[00:19:36] Well, and that's okay.
[00:19:37] I don't want to say it.
[00:19:38] I told you so.
[00:19:38] You have that?
[00:19:39] I warned you.
[00:19:41] I walked you through it as you fell down.
[00:19:42] I don't think that you warned me.
[00:19:43] You never warned me.
[00:19:44] You were just like, this is what you want to do.
[00:19:46] I did when you were fucking sitting there.
[00:19:48] You had to go home.
[00:19:48] Oh my God.
[00:19:49] My God.
[00:19:50] For fucking FaceTime.
[00:19:52] Not even to see somebody.
[00:19:53] Anyways.
[00:19:54] Pleading your life because you had to make a phone call where you could make it anywhere.
[00:19:58] You want me to FaceTime in your bathroom while we're at your house?
[00:20:01] I don't give a fuck where you FaceTime.
[00:20:03] Nonetheless, he is.
[00:20:04] I'm not going to argue with him.
[00:20:05] He has a valid point.
[00:20:07] But you did admit what was wrong.
[00:20:10] Absolutely.
[00:20:10] And I did.
[00:20:11] And then I lost myself.
[00:20:12] And it was the first time I let my walls down with somebody.
[00:20:14] And I just, I did.
[00:20:16] I still can't understand a lot of it.
[00:20:17] I mean, this specific person is still friends.
[00:20:19] Yeah.
[00:20:20] So, but it is, I mean, it is what it is.
[00:20:22] Just, I will say for me, personal growth, it's been a, I've learned a lot too, to just, there's
[00:20:34] no reason to lie.
[00:20:35] Just be upfront about it and just own up to it.
[00:20:39] That's the first time ever Cody saw me cry over.
[00:20:40] Boy.
[00:20:43] Otherwise, you'd cry in the shower.
[00:20:44] Yes.
[00:20:45] This year is just to keep on focused on me, focus on my fitness and my career.
[00:20:51] I'm probably going to work a little bit, a whole lot more double time this year with just
[00:20:54] jobs to keep myself busy.
[00:20:57] But with us both moving to new cities, I think it's going to be a new opportunity for me
[00:21:01] to meet fresh new people.
[00:21:03] Me too.
[00:21:04] I just have, and you know, I would like to meet fresh new people, but more so, I just
[00:21:10] want more time to be able to take care of each to do the dad things I need to do.
[00:21:14] Yeah, father, son and all that.
[00:21:15] A little more time for myself to relax, really.
[00:21:18] I'd love to make new friends and be able to hang out with them more, but I got a shit ton
[00:21:22] going on.
[00:21:23] It's got a lot going on.
[00:21:24] I just need more time for life in general.
[00:21:28] A little bit slower paced.
[00:21:30] Yeah.
[00:21:30] That's also, you know, too, because I like, of course, a little bit fast paced, but like
[00:21:34] going to a slower motion of life because people that have known me, they're like, you're always
[00:21:38] go, go, go, go, go.
[00:21:39] And then we're like, what do you just, that moment?
[00:21:42] Never.
[00:21:43] Never, you know?
[00:21:44] And like, I mean, these past two weeks, they give us a work life balance.
[00:21:46] So we had to like two weeks off of for Christmas break.
[00:21:49] And I was doing some packing and just hanging out and Cody had already moved.
[00:21:52] And I went to hang out with him the other day.
[00:21:54] I'm like, just let me hang out.
[00:21:55] I'm so fucking bored.
[00:21:56] Like, oh my God, don't send me home.
[00:21:58] I don't know what it was, what we said.
[00:22:00] And he's like, I'm not going home.
[00:22:01] I'm fucking bored.
[00:22:02] Oh yeah.
[00:22:02] Cause I was like, well, you know, this is cool.
[00:22:03] And he goes, no dude, you don't have to stay.
[00:22:04] We're going to eat.
[00:22:05] And I go, oh no, no, no, no, no.
[00:22:06] I didn't want to go home.
[00:22:07] I'm fucking bored.
[00:22:07] Like, don't send me home.
[00:22:08] Um, but yeah.
[00:22:11] And I, it was, it was a lot of self-reflection time and I, a person along with their thoughts
[00:22:16] is a very deadly thing.
[00:22:17] You shouldn't, but, uh, it's very rough.
[00:22:21] Um, but yeah, so we're, that's, those are my goals.
[00:22:24] Um, those are my goals and, uh, our podcasts.
[00:22:29] I want to grow it bigger.
[00:22:30] It's, are you thinking about adopting a dog?
[00:22:33] Is that legit?
[00:22:34] Don't, don't adopt that damn dog.
[00:22:36] So, so yeah.
[00:22:37] So there were, okay.
[00:22:38] So I don't know if there was something that happened.
[00:22:40] It was, but guess what?
[00:22:40] It looks just like his hyper ass dog that he's got right now that he does not need to.
[00:22:45] You know, I have one of those.
[00:22:46] This is my text response from two days later.
[00:22:49] I know.
[00:22:50] I look like a crazy person texting him.
[00:22:52] I slept for almost two people.
[00:22:52] I mean, two days.
[00:22:54] Two people also.
[00:22:55] I've been working so much nights and days.
[00:22:57] I just barely had two days off.
[00:23:00] No, they, these dogs have been coming up.
[00:23:02] And so this dog, you know, she looks like armor.
[00:23:04] She could be his sister.
[00:23:05] I don't know if she probably is or isn't, but they just left her.
[00:23:08] And I'm like, you can't.
[00:23:09] And I put an application in to foster her just until they get it.
[00:23:13] You know what that means.
[00:23:15] And then they were like, oh no, she's been, you know, she's been adopted.
[00:23:17] I'm like, all right.
[00:23:18] She looks identical to armor, which is crazy.
[00:23:20] My mom's like, armor would lose his shit.
[00:23:22] Cause he's jealous and crazy and whatever.
[00:23:25] I was like, all right.
[00:23:25] And then there was another one that came across yesterday, but she had gray hair.
[00:23:28] Can you have dog fever?
[00:23:30] I will have puppies soon.
[00:23:32] I will.
[00:23:32] Cause I'm probably going to go home with one of them.
[00:23:34] So I'm just trying to have four dogs.
[00:23:36] No, no.
[00:23:36] I'm going to have a big house with four dogs.
[00:23:39] It's still four dogs.
[00:23:40] But, but yeah.
[00:23:41] And so I just, it wasn't, it was just, I want to get these, but it's cold here.
[00:23:43] I don't like this fucking cold weather we got.
[00:23:45] So I don't want to go outside.
[00:23:46] I will foster them for like two weeks and send them back.
[00:23:48] So this one, I felt really, really bad for this one, but somebody adopted that one too.
[00:23:52] And I go, it's a sign.
[00:23:52] I'm not going for it anymore.
[00:23:53] We're good.
[00:23:54] So I'm not.
[00:23:55] I, but yeah, there was two dogs that I was going to adopt just for, but it scares me for, to adopt an older dog with my two dogs.
[00:24:02] Cause they basically.
[00:24:03] Yeah.
[00:24:03] I mean, it doesn't have to happen now, but they could fight later.
[00:24:06] Yeah.
[00:24:06] And I, yeah.
[00:24:08] So yeah.
[00:24:09] Not happening.
[00:24:09] And my sister had a dog that we still don't know which, which of the two did it really, but it killed one of the dogs.
[00:24:16] I mean, they lived together for three plus years.
[00:24:19] Yeah.
[00:24:19] And see, that's my thing about getting a big dog.
[00:24:21] Cause I saw one, my mom has this beautiful pit bull and she's pretty, God, she's such a good dog.
[00:24:27] She tramples, my mom follows and stuff and they're, they're trying to get it, get a new, re-home her because she's just too much for a mom to handle.
[00:24:34] And I would take her, but I saw the way she acted with ammo.
[00:24:36] Like ammo is my little five pound chihuahua.
[00:24:38] She almost ate him.
[00:24:39] It wasn't like aggressive, but you know, just big.
[00:24:43] And so, but yeah, but no.
[00:24:45] Yeah.
[00:24:45] I did almost, almost.
[00:24:47] It didn't work out.
[00:24:48] Everything happens for a reason.
[00:24:49] And what do you think about this fucking cold weather that's coming up, man?
[00:24:51] If anyone knows me, I could change the subject, but if anyone knows me, I fucking hate it.
[00:24:56] It's horrible.
[00:24:56] I fucking hate it.
[00:24:58] I moved away from it to get warmer weather consistently and I hate it.
[00:25:03] Yeah.
[00:25:04] I don't, I, you know, I posted a thing on Facebook today and it was barely like an inch on the ground.
[00:25:08] It just looked like sleet.
[00:25:10] And then it shows major gridlock in Dallas.
[00:25:12] Oh man.
[00:25:13] Shit.
[00:25:14] You, you whisper it and we're shutting down.
[00:25:16] And you know, it's funny cause where I live right now, um, I live right by the medical
[00:25:21] district in Lovefield.
[00:25:23] And so I was telling a couple of friends of mine that live a block over, we were talking
[00:25:26] on New Jersey, we hung out and I was like, so yeah, I was like, I'm on a medical grid,
[00:25:30] like my power don't go out.
[00:25:32] And he's like, are you sure?
[00:25:33] He's like, cause these two blocks and I have my friend Chris that lives there.
[00:25:36] And then my other two friends on the next block.
[00:25:37] And they're like, we're not on the medical grid.
[00:25:39] I'm like, we're on the medical grid.
[00:25:41] I was like, it's the hospitals right there in clear view.
[00:25:43] We cannot not be on it.
[00:25:45] Off by across the street.
[00:25:47] Oh my God.
[00:25:48] He's right.
[00:25:48] And so for wind, for wind, I went to go hang out with Cody and I went to, got to Cody's
[00:25:54] house and I got an alert.
[00:25:55] It's like, Hey, your power went out and I go, what?
[00:25:57] This is not possible.
[00:25:58] And I text both of my friends and I go, did your power go out?
[00:26:00] And they're like, Oh, so much for that medical grid.
[00:26:04] And he went out like five times.
[00:26:06] Um, apparently I'm not on the medical grid, but yeah.
[00:26:10] So with this Dallasca 2.0 coming over, how long is it supposed to last?
[00:26:16] I don't know a week, but I hope just two days.
[00:26:18] And then send it back and give me spring.
[00:26:20] Man, they could take it now.
[00:26:22] I would like a day of snow, maybe two pushing it.
[00:26:25] Not here.
[00:26:26] We can go visit.
[00:26:28] That's a melon.
[00:26:29] Um, I was going to tell you, if it gets too crazy and I don't have no power and you do,
[00:26:33] I'm going to go take your third room.
[00:26:35] It gets windy over there.
[00:26:36] You know, there's not as many buildings in Dallas, so it gets kind of windy over there.
[00:26:39] It's a little cold, cold, chill.
[00:26:41] Cody got this really awesome apartment.
[00:26:43] It looks like a fucking house.
[00:26:44] It's like big as fuck.
[00:26:44] And I'm like, Hey, I kind of hollered.
[00:26:47] Hey, Hey.
[00:26:48] Hey, Hey.
[00:26:49] That good?
[00:26:49] It does go.
[00:26:50] It's pretty decent size.
[00:26:53] Um, really tall ceilings, which amazes me because it's top floor.
[00:26:57] Mm-hmm.
[00:26:58] Um, and then this weather just, it's just, it keeps getting crazy and colder and colder and
[00:27:03] colder.
[00:27:04] Like the other day it was like 21 degrees.
[00:27:06] I know.
[00:27:07] I saw it in 20.
[00:27:08] I don't remember what day, but I saw 20.
[00:27:09] And I'm so thankful for seat warmers.
[00:27:12] It's so nice.
[00:27:15] The OG are in there curled up while it's getting warm.
[00:27:18] You know, funny, a couple of years ago when Cody got his truck, he paid extra to have
[00:27:22] the leather seats put in.
[00:27:23] And so it was like winter and I get in the car because my car, she has all the bells and
[00:27:27] whistles, but she's a little dingbat.
[00:27:28] She would hit a couple of times.
[00:27:29] I thought that was brand new and he didn't got shit.
[00:27:30] That's his truck.
[00:27:31] Not my car.
[00:27:31] So we get in there and we're like freezing and it's like, oh my God, can you turn the
[00:27:35] seat warmers on?
[00:27:36] Seat warmers.
[00:27:37] And I'm like, oh my God.
[00:27:38] But you have remote start.
[00:27:39] Like, but yeah, no, that's the best thing.
[00:27:41] When we used to be roommates, we would take my car because I had seat warmers.
[00:27:44] But yeah.
[00:27:45] So no, we just got those extra episodes that we're going to do.
[00:27:48] We're going to do, we have a really, we have new intros that we got going on.
[00:27:50] We're going to do a new photo shoot.
[00:27:53] I'm excited about that.
[00:27:54] It's good.
[00:27:55] We'll have clothes on.
[00:27:56] Season two.
[00:27:57] I know we guys saw, I know we had talked about guests for a season two.
[00:28:01] And when we initially planned on starting this podcast today or now, it was, it started
[00:28:06] late as you guys know.
[00:28:07] So those guests, we on different booking schedules.
[00:28:10] Rough start.
[00:28:10] Rough start.
[00:28:11] There's nothing wrong with that because we had to perfect our craft and here we are.
[00:28:14] Well, that too.
[00:28:14] And just holidays a lot.
[00:28:16] Yeah.
[00:28:16] Timing.
[00:28:17] So season two, I'm excited for season two because we have a whole lot of great things that
[00:28:23] to show you guys.
[00:28:23] There's going to be video.
[00:28:24] It's going to be great.
[00:28:25] I know I talked about Drew from, from Chainsmokers.
[00:28:29] He's, you know, I talked to him.
[00:28:30] Yesterday, he's going to be on the show.
[00:28:32] We're going to do that.
[00:28:33] I'm hoping that if they tour at some point this year in Dallas, he can be in studio.
[00:28:36] That'd be really great.
[00:28:38] Zoom interview.
[00:28:39] That whole thing.
[00:28:40] Still waiting to hear back from my, my future husband.
[00:28:43] But, um, uh, but yeah, so we're working on that.
[00:28:47] We're trying to get some big names just to, you know, come in and talk about our podcast.
[00:28:50] I've got a lot of feedback from just, it's crazy from people that from different walks
[00:28:55] of life.
[00:28:56] Yeah.
[00:28:56] And I, I love it so much.
[00:28:58] And, uh, it's funny when I, cause I know I don't tell Cody none numbers.
[00:29:02] I don't, I don't tell him nothing until, Hey, by the way, this is what happens.
[00:29:06] I just show up.
[00:29:07] Yeah.
[00:29:07] He's just a talent.
[00:29:09] No, it's not like that.
[00:29:11] I'm just a talent.
[00:29:12] It's not like that.
[00:29:13] No, not at all.
[00:29:14] He's got a lot going on.
[00:29:15] So he, yeah, he did this just, I appreciate him doing this.
[00:29:20] Uh, but yeah, we've got a lot of good things.
[00:29:22] It's going to be video.
[00:29:23] It's going to be a whole lot for next season.
[00:29:24] Um, we've got three episodes left of this season.
[00:29:27] And so we're going to hit a little bit on fitness.
[00:29:30] You said you got back on fitness.
[00:29:31] Like I know you want to talk about, didn't you want to, didn't you want to, didn't at some
[00:29:34] point?
[00:29:34] I know you want to get back into meal prepping.
[00:29:36] No, I'm actually looking to get, looking to get my cert.
[00:29:39] Looking to get my certification.
[00:29:40] We both can't say this.
[00:29:41] It messes me up.
[00:29:42] Uh, I'm looking to get my certification.
[00:29:44] Yeah.
[00:29:45] I wanted to do that before, you know, a couple of years ago, about two years ago or so I was
[00:29:49] looking into it and gotten that relationship, you know, did what I did, came back, got back
[00:29:54] on one feet.
[00:29:55] I'd love to do it again.
[00:29:56] Now that I'm getting back into fitness, even not having been in fitness myself, I'd still
[00:30:00] like to have done so.
[00:30:01] I'm just having the time to do so now.
[00:30:04] I I'm going to, I'm going to give him full credit.
[00:30:06] And this, you can call it bias or whatever.
[00:30:07] But when I met Cody and I told him, he said he worked out.
[00:30:10] I'm like, Hey, do you mind if I work out with you?
[00:30:11] And he's like, no, dude, not at all.
[00:30:13] And since I've known him, I've always worked out with him.
[00:30:15] And of course it's your own self disciplining, but Cody's going to be a really great trainer
[00:30:19] because y'all see me and I'm not being boastful, but in some of my best times, I mean, I trained
[00:30:24] with Cody.
[00:30:25] And so I've got videos where we've gone to the gym.
[00:30:27] Like, Hey dude, let me record it.
[00:30:28] He's like, bring your acting like a crazy person.
[00:30:29] Like, no, this is going to be for your website for when you train people.
[00:30:31] And like, he's, he knows that he's passionate about that.
[00:30:35] I love it.
[00:30:36] It's good stuff.
[00:30:37] It's good release.
[00:30:38] At least for me and for most people, really.
[00:30:40] I kind of see you like owning your own gym too.
[00:30:42] Like owning your own gym and training folks.
[00:30:44] And so thought in the past, it was a thought.
[00:30:46] I kind of see it in your future too, though.
[00:30:47] Like, you know what?
[00:30:48] Maybe when I win the lottery.
[00:30:49] Maybe so.
[00:30:50] Shit.
[00:30:51] Have an IV therapy, nursing, a staffing agency, and a gym.
[00:30:55] Ain't all that.
[00:30:56] Yeah.
[00:30:56] Make that money.
[00:30:58] What's Cody doing?
[00:30:59] I'm on the beach right now.
[00:31:00] Oh, yeah.
[00:31:00] In church in Kegos.
[00:31:01] Yeah.
[00:31:02] Teaching fitness.
[00:31:03] Yes, exactly.
[00:31:04] He's by his new place.
[00:31:05] There's an outside fitness thing.
[00:31:06] I'm excited to check that out when it's warm.
[00:31:08] I'm excited to see it.
[00:31:09] It's like, it's right next door.
[00:31:10] When it's warm though.
[00:31:11] Yeah.
[00:31:12] It's better when it's cold, is it not?
[00:31:13] Well, they say that.
[00:31:14] I mean, it is for photo shoots.
[00:31:15] They say.
[00:31:16] It's photo shoots.
[00:31:17] What photo shoots?
[00:31:18] Above the belt?
[00:31:20] In any photo shoot.
[00:31:21] That's Tyra Banks.
[00:31:22] Cold photo shoot.
[00:31:23] Yes.
[00:31:24] Not for dudes below the belt.
[00:31:25] Well, we're not.
[00:31:27] There's a sock for it.
[00:31:29] They're dumb.
[00:31:30] But no, for real.
[00:31:30] With photo shoots for females, like a lot of them, like top model and known from personal
[00:31:36] experience, you can go on the top of a building, a 40-foot build or 40-story building.
[00:31:41] You get on the top with the windshield.
[00:31:43] A model who's more relaxed is going to do this and you're going to get another shot.
[00:31:45] Oh, their skin's going to frame and their boobs are going to tighten and do all that
[00:31:48] stuff.
[00:31:48] No.
[00:31:49] You're more eager and disciplined to get the shot done in five minutes than 15 to 20 minutes.
[00:31:56] I see that.
[00:31:56] Focus and get it done and get the hell up out of it.
[00:31:58] And so that's why they do a lot of them in the cold and I'm like, ah, but yeah.
[00:32:01] So that's a passion that I see for you.
[00:32:04] Me too.
[00:32:06] It'll be a side gig, I think.
[00:32:08] Yeah.
[00:32:08] But yeah, me too.
[00:32:10] I also would love to flip houses at some point again.
[00:32:12] I did that when I was first, my first marriage.
[00:32:14] Uh-huh.
[00:32:15] Loved, loved flipping houses.
[00:32:16] Did the work myself.
[00:32:17] Bought the house, flipped it.
[00:32:18] It was great.
[00:32:19] Loved it.
[00:32:20] I almost said the word, but I'll rig it.
[00:32:24] So, funny story.
[00:32:25] This, and I don't eat spicy foods.
[00:32:28] I'm allergic to jalapenos.
[00:32:29] I can't do that.
[00:32:29] That is a lie, you guys.
[00:32:31] Let me just tell you.
[00:32:31] He's just a puss.
[00:32:33] That's not.
[00:32:33] Things are hot for him and he lies and says that he's...
[00:32:36] For the longest time in my life, I was allergic.
[00:32:37] I have documentation to show it.
[00:32:39] He's Latino, if you ask him.
[00:32:42] But he can't eat a jalapeno to save his life or anything spicy.
[00:32:45] That's why I have EpiPens.
[00:32:46] I've seen him eat them.
[00:32:47] He just, they're too spicy for him.
[00:32:49] You've seen me eat a jalapeno.
[00:32:50] A whole ass jalapeno.
[00:32:52] Okay, but if you eat something hot sauce or a drink or something like that.
[00:32:55] That's a good pregnancy zone.
[00:32:55] So I don't smell it.
[00:32:56] That's a lie, you haven't done it every time.
[00:32:59] Anyways.
[00:33:00] So, I'm partially allergic on that stuff.
[00:33:02] Partially.
[00:33:03] Parsley.
[00:33:04] That's a word for me.
[00:33:05] Medically, that is.
[00:33:06] So, I've tried to make...
[00:33:07] This is...
[00:33:08] I've made tamales once in my life and the whole masa.
[00:33:10] These are good, though.
[00:33:12] So, I made tamales.
[00:33:13] And my mom, my grandma made the tamales.
[00:33:14] And in her masa, she'd put the red sauce.
[00:33:16] She'd do the peppers, do all that.
[00:33:18] And make it red.
[00:33:19] And it gave it flavor.
[00:33:20] But my mom, she's like, you know, you can buy that already made.
[00:33:22] And then just put the red sauce in it.
[00:33:24] Masa?
[00:33:24] Yeah.
[00:33:25] That masa was already made.
[00:33:26] I didn't know that.
[00:33:27] Yeah, that's why I cut the four hours down to one.
[00:33:29] So, and so I was like, yeah.
[00:33:31] And so I went and got the pork and all that.
[00:33:32] And my mom goes, buy the one.
[00:33:34] They already have it, like, pre-made.
[00:33:35] And I go, like, the package?
[00:33:37] And she's like, peppers.
[00:33:38] Oh, okay.
[00:33:39] Peppers for you to blend it and all that.
[00:33:40] I still bought a bag of peppers.
[00:33:41] And I still had the...
[00:33:43] So, I bought that.
[00:33:44] And I go, she goes, make sure to put a little bit in the masa, not a lot.
[00:33:47] And I go, mom.
[00:33:48] And she goes, it's going to be spicy.
[00:33:49] And I go, but mom, grains were red.
[00:33:51] And she goes, just put a little bit.
[00:33:53] I'm like, all right, fine.
[00:33:54] So, I cooked the pork.
[00:33:55] I put the masa together.
[00:33:56] You defrost it overnight, whatever.
[00:33:58] I poured half of that bag of red sauce in it just to give it a red color.
[00:34:03] And I'm like, oh, that's fine.
[00:34:04] And then I went and I did half the bag in the pork.
[00:34:06] And I'm like, it's fine.
[00:34:07] And I tasted it.
[00:34:07] I'm like, it's fine.
[00:34:08] And then I'm like, oh.
[00:34:09] After a second.
[00:34:10] Fuck me.
[00:34:11] Graydon can't eat hot to save his life.
[00:34:13] So, I made them.
[00:34:14] I took it out of the thing.
[00:34:16] The Instapot is amazing for tamales.
[00:34:19] 45 minutes.
[00:34:19] Ah.
[00:34:20] Anyways.
[00:34:21] So, I took a bite of it and I text Cody and I go, bitch.
[00:34:23] I can't breathe.
[00:34:24] This fucker's hot.
[00:34:25] I couldn't even finish the whole tamale.
[00:34:26] So, I'm like, I got you.
[00:34:27] Like, I saved you like a whole dozen.
[00:34:30] I ain't one of them motherfuckers.
[00:34:31] It was hot.
[00:34:32] It's hot.
[00:34:33] It was hot.
[00:34:34] And then I finished the rest in my stomach.
[00:34:36] You said.
[00:34:37] There was lava.
[00:34:38] There was lava.
[00:34:40] No joke.
[00:34:41] Absolutely.
[00:34:41] Yeah.
[00:34:41] They were fucking hot as fuck.
[00:34:43] It was too much.
[00:34:51] Yeah.
[00:34:52] And so, but yeah.
[00:34:54] So, I did that.
[00:34:55] It was really good.
[00:34:55] I took the rest of the people at work and they're like, oh my God.
[00:34:58] I'm like, I know.
[00:34:58] Can you make some more?
[00:34:59] No.
[00:34:59] I don't want to make them that hot again.
[00:35:00] Yeah.
[00:35:01] That's hot.
[00:35:01] But I'm making some more next week.
[00:35:03] So, it'll be good.
[00:35:03] I like to put hot sauce on mine.
[00:35:06] It's hot.
[00:35:07] I'm hoping to get a new tattoo.
[00:35:09] Yeah.
[00:35:10] Yeah?
[00:35:11] Yeah.
[00:35:13] What are you getting?
[00:35:14] I don't know.
[00:35:14] I think I want to go to.
[00:35:16] I want the eye of raw.
[00:35:17] Okay.
[00:35:18] So, I think I'm going to go and get it in the, I found this tattoo shop in the Bahamas.
[00:35:23] Oh, you're going to come back with an infection.
[00:35:26] Uh-uh.
[00:35:26] Don't say that.
[00:35:27] That was my fear.
[00:35:28] Like.
[00:35:29] No.
[00:35:30] I don't know.
[00:35:31] I don't know.
[00:35:32] They could be cleanlier than most places.
[00:35:35] Yeah.
[00:35:35] I don't.
[00:35:35] Well, they have 15,000 followers on that page.
[00:35:39] Okay.
[00:35:39] Their work looks really good.
[00:35:41] Okay.
[00:35:41] I mean, if you go in there and you feel safe and you smell like, it smells like alcohol,
[00:35:45] like it's cleaner.
[00:35:46] That's like one of my, I knew better.
[00:35:47] I knew better.
[00:35:48] That's like going to Mexico for a nose job.
[00:35:49] We don't do that.
[00:35:51] So, Cody's doing a new tattoo on my end.
[00:35:55] I mean, I'm not saying that.
[00:35:56] I'm just, that's scary.
[00:35:58] Well, it is to me, but I was telling myself, you got this.
[00:36:01] But I think it'd be cool.
[00:36:01] But from the medical opinion.
[00:36:02] I think it'd be cool to get a tattoo from a different.
[00:36:04] I might get a smiley face.
[00:36:06] That's true.
[00:36:11] One circle, two dots, and a smile.
[00:36:13] Here we go.
[00:36:13] Thanks, guys.
[00:36:14] I got my Bahamas tattoo.
[00:36:16] I got my Bahamas tattoo.
[00:36:19] That's pretty bad.
[00:36:19] But I get it.
[00:36:20] I get it.
[00:36:21] Yeah.
[00:36:22] That's a whole lot, man.
[00:36:22] It's just, but who knows?
[00:36:25] I don't know.
[00:36:25] Well, I'm not doing that now.
[00:36:26] That's a big one, and I'm fucking freaked out.
[00:36:28] It's not going to happen.
[00:36:30] Might get like the Walmart smiley face.
[00:36:31] But yeah, no, Cody's going to do the next tattoo for me.
[00:36:34] We're going to do it on top of my hand.
[00:36:36] All right.
[00:36:37] I have raw.
[00:36:38] You can sit through it.
[00:36:39] Did I sit through the last one?
[00:36:41] Your hand hurts.
[00:36:42] What's...
[00:36:42] I've had tattoos on my hand, or I've had tattoos on the top of my feet, which is the same consistency
[00:36:47] as the top of the feet.
[00:36:49] You know what you just said?
[00:36:50] The same consistency, bones and skin, as the top of your feet.
[00:36:55] That your hands are on?
[00:36:57] Your...
[00:36:58] This consists...
[00:36:58] Okay, y'all can't see.
[00:36:59] So where my hand...
[00:37:00] I'm showing him.
[00:37:00] My hand, where it's skin and veins and bones on the top, is the same as the top of your feet.
[00:37:05] The skin is.
[00:37:07] There's still bony there, too, on top of your feet.
[00:37:09] But it's...
[00:37:10] You've got different nerves.
[00:37:10] It's just going to hurt different.
[00:37:11] Well, you always got different nerves everywhere.
[00:37:13] But I'm talking about skin, bones, and skin and bones.
[00:37:16] Yeah, but you're not the one worried about tattooing it.
[00:37:18] It doesn't matter how tough it is on that.
[00:37:19] It just matters the nerves that hurt different.
[00:37:22] I think I could do the top of my hand.
[00:37:24] Yeah, it's not bad.
[00:37:25] I got my whole hand.
[00:37:26] That's one of our favorite ones, because that hummingbird is so pretty.
[00:37:29] And I was like, who did it?
[00:37:30] And he goes, really?
[00:37:31] It's not.
[00:37:32] It's not that bad.
[00:37:34] Yeah.
[00:37:34] So I want that.
[00:37:35] And I want some more on my fingers.
[00:37:36] But I had a friend the other day.
[00:37:38] We were going through...
[00:37:38] I want to do a tattoo on you that isn't...
[00:37:41] Somebody else is drawing.
[00:37:43] I told you there was one that...
[00:37:44] You had a really cool idea for one for the spine.
[00:37:46] And I don't remember what it was.
[00:37:48] And it was colorful.
[00:37:49] Does the spine hurt, y'all?
[00:37:51] Because if it does, let me know in the comments.
[00:37:52] All tattoos, hey.
[00:37:53] But I really would.
[00:37:54] Like, I would.
[00:37:55] Yeah, so I'm getting back into tattooing a little bit.
[00:37:58] He did mine for Christmas.
[00:37:59] The one that Aries drew.
[00:38:01] Like, I'll post a picture of it.
[00:38:03] And it's funny, too.
[00:38:04] Because he goes...
[00:38:05] I mean, just let everybody know this is a kid's drawing.
[00:38:08] Fucking hey, man.
[00:38:09] I hate doing something.
[00:38:10] And I tagged him in the picture.
[00:38:12] And I'm like, he didn't approve the tag.
[00:38:13] I was like, we'll take it down on Facebook.
[00:38:15] Oh, did I not?
[00:38:15] No.
[00:38:16] I'm just barely...
[00:38:17] I'm barely ever on it.
[00:38:18] But he does...
[00:38:19] He did so good.
[00:38:20] And I didn't move.
[00:38:20] Like, I have a sugar skull on the other side of it.
[00:38:22] He wanted it exactly like Aries drew it.
[00:38:24] And Aries was five, mind you.
[00:38:26] Yeah.
[00:38:27] And it looks just like that.
[00:38:28] But it's so cool.
[00:38:29] Like...
[00:38:31] And where he was doing the shading in the yellow because it's a supersonic.
[00:38:34] And I go, I don't think the yellow is going to take.
[00:38:36] And he's like, it's going to take.
[00:38:37] And I go, no, it's not.
[00:38:38] We're going to have to make him blue.
[00:38:40] We're going to have to make him red.
[00:38:41] And he goes, Brayden, it's going to take.
[00:38:42] And it took.
[00:38:43] He's got to lay out of the color.
[00:38:45] I mean, you just can't dig.
[00:38:47] He's got to lay the color right.
[00:38:48] And my skin kind of likes color.
[00:38:49] So we're going to go for that.
[00:38:51] Yeah.
[00:38:51] Next one I want more on top of my hand.
[00:38:53] Starting into tattooing again.
[00:38:55] That wouldn't be a bad gig to get into.
[00:38:57] I'll make sure to put a link to book with him on our website.
[00:39:01] Maybe in a month or two whenever I get more supplies and get me.
[00:39:04] Being in a relationship and, you know.
[00:39:06] You're in a relationship?
[00:39:07] Yeah.
[00:39:09] He does live here, though.
[00:39:10] We moved in together.
[00:39:12] Sharing that responsibility and everything takes a toll off me.
[00:39:15] So, yeah, great.
[00:39:15] I have more time.
[00:39:16] I'll be able to get back into it.
[00:39:17] But I respect him, too, on the end, too.
[00:39:20] Like, when you do it for fun as a hobby.
[00:39:22] And then when it gets into a job.
[00:39:24] Right.
[00:39:24] You don't want to do it anymore.
[00:39:26] And I'll be straight up.
[00:39:26] I can do the work.
[00:39:27] But if it's too intricate, if it's too detailed, if it takes me three hours.
[00:39:31] I'm not somebody that can do it for you.
[00:39:32] I'll say no.
[00:39:32] Yeah.
[00:39:33] Her name is Crystal.
[00:39:34] Shout out.
[00:39:34] I don't want to work that long.
[00:39:36] I could probably go up to about three hours of work.
[00:39:39] Yeah.
[00:39:39] I could probably do that.
[00:39:40] But anything past that, I just don't want to do it.
[00:39:44] I need more tattoos also.
[00:39:46] I need to.
[00:39:46] My neck needs more work.
[00:39:48] The back of my head.
[00:39:49] I'm getting it up the back of my head.
[00:39:50] Yeah.
[00:39:51] And that's what he's going to let me know how that feels.
[00:39:52] Because I want one on the side of my head above the ear.
[00:39:54] And I've seen that.
[00:39:55] And I had to get it.
[00:39:56] Because my mom, I have to ask her these things.
[00:39:58] And I would like her opinion.
[00:40:00] And I would respect it.
[00:40:01] And she's like, just don't put it on your face.
[00:40:05] I will.
[00:40:06] Because I feel like the tattoo going against the grain of the hair.
[00:40:09] Yeah.
[00:40:10] On my neck, it hurt against the grain.
[00:40:12] Yeah.
[00:40:12] But it didn't look like it was that painful.
[00:40:13] You handle it really well.
[00:40:14] The last of the three sessions was I was like, oh, he's questioning his religion right now.
[00:40:21] That shit hurt.
[00:40:22] He did.
[00:40:23] And she had him turned around the other way.
[00:40:24] So I couldn't record her laugh.
[00:40:26] And she'd look up and had to start laughing.
[00:40:27] He's like, shut up, Brayden.
[00:40:30] Oh, man.
[00:40:31] I got to go back for more.
[00:40:32] So that was just going to be our.
[00:40:35] We just want to give you guys a little update.
[00:40:36] We, like I said, just life has gotten busy for us both.
[00:40:40] So, but yeah, life has gotten busy for us both.
[00:40:42] We wanted to get those episodes out to you.
[00:40:44] But we're also the first to tell you, hey, life got in the way.
[00:40:47] Yeah, for sure.
[00:40:49] But we're coming back with three more episodes of this season.

[00:40:56] And it's going to be great.
[00:40:58] It is going to be great.
[00:40:59] There's a lot more time, a lot more freedom.
[00:41:01] So we'll be a lot more attentive.
[00:41:03] Absolutely.
[00:41:04] And we've got some really cool things that I'm going to work on because I've been telling him for a couple months.
[00:41:08] We're going to do these TikToks.
[00:41:09] He's like, yeah, yeah.
[00:41:11] I haven't done TikToks in a while.
[00:41:13] And so we're going to work.
[00:41:14] I'm going to have to like, we're going to work on them.
[00:41:16] We're going to do one at least once a month.
[00:41:18] I'm going to try to get one for the show because I've got some really cool ideas.
[00:41:20] You're going to make a TikTok just for the show?
[00:41:22] No, I'm going to make it on ours and I'll share it like on our Facebook or I'm going to share it on there.
[00:41:27] But like I'll create the TikToks for mine.
[00:41:33] Anyways, thanks for listening.
